Obinna Godfrey Ikocha is a Canadian-based international executive, institution builder and strategic partnership facilitator with more than 25 years of professional and leadership experience spanning corporate management, human resources, organizational development, public administration, service excellence, professional development and international business.

Obinna spent more than 25 years with Chevron, developing extensive experience across human resources and organizational effectiveness. His career included responsibilities in recruitment and selection, HR information systems, employee benefits, field HR operations, business partnering, expatriate administration, training coordination, learning and development and organizational capability. His work encompassed workforce development, performance management, leadership development, succession planning, organizational design and institutional knowledge.
International Business & Service Excellence
Following his Chevron career, Obinna established Maple Eagle Consulting in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, extending his corporate experience into management consulting, workforce development, customer experience and service excellence. He is a Certified Trainer with the Service Quality Institute (USA) and has developed and promoted service-culture and workforce-development programs for corporate and public-sector organizations. His international professional and business experience includes engagements and relationships across Canada, Nigeria, the United Arab Emirates and the United States, alongside broader international networks. His Dubai experience has included engagement with business and professional networks including the CEO Club Network, Canadian Business Council of Dubai and the Northern Emirates and Dubai Chamber of Commerce. He has received recognition through the Burj CEO Awards on two occasions, including recognition for Maple Eagle Consulting in 2016, and has participated in service-quality assessment activity associated with Dubai government service-excellence programs.
Obinna holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA), with Distinction, from the University of Lagos, with specialization in Human Resources Management. His professional interests sit at the intersection of international business, public administration, human capital, organizational development, service excellence, knowledge exchange and cross-border institutional partnerships.
